Mark L. Dawson

Mark Dawson is a veteran defense lawyer with more than twenty-five jury trials to verdict. Mark is the managing attorney for the Bay Area office for Norton & Melnik. His practice focuses on litigating cases in the areas of personal injury, construction defect, habitability, and products liability. Mark’s trial experience includes numerous catastrophic injury cases against some of the top plaintiff’s lawyers in the Bay Area. He represents insureds on behalf of theirs carriers and he also serves as outside general counsel to several building product manufacturers. In addition, Mark handles the Firm’s subrogation department.

Mark has successfully defended clients in cases involving premises liability, trucking accidents, landlord tenant relationships, toxic tort, product liability, construction defect (including claims against general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, material men and suppliers as well as manufacturers of products), employment liability, intentional torts including defamation and slander, as well as motor vehicle accidents and work place injury suits involving claims ranging from soft-tissue damage to traumatic brain injury.
