Kayla F. Phillips is an associate in the Los Angeles Office of Norton & Melnik, APC.  She focuses her practice primarily on civil litigation defense, premises liability and motor vehicle defense.  Prior to joining Norton & Melnik, APC, Ms. Phillips was an associate at a small boutique law firm focusing on civil litigation and criminal defense with a focus on domestic disputes.

While still attending law school, Ms. Phillips worked as a law clerk at a bankruptcy firm and a legal intern at the Washburn Law Clinic handling immigration, adoption, and paternity matters.  She was also a member of the Family Law Quarterly during her tenure at Washburn University School and has practiced in California since 2016.
